Bangalore is the main city of the Indian state of Karnataka. The airport that serves the city is known as Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore (IATA: BLR, ICAO: VOBL). It is approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) to the north of the town and has a total area of 4,000 acres (1,600 hectares). It is close to Devanahalli.
Bangladesh International Airport Limited (BIAL), a group of state and private companies, owns and runs it. It opened in May 2008 as an option for HAL Airport, which needed to be more relaxed. It was the first main business airport in the city. It was named after Bangalore's founder, Kempe Gowda I. CleanMax Solar built Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore, the first airport in Karnataka to run on solar power alone.
This airport is the third busiest in India in terms of total goods handled, traveller traffic, and air traffic moves, after Delhi and Mumbai. The 29th largest airport in Asia is also there. In FY 2021–22, the airport handled 411,550 tonnes (453,660 short tonnes) of goods and 16.2 million people who used it. On all six continents, there are direct flights and flights that link to five of them.
Over time, the airport got bigger, and in December 2014, it finally opened to the public. It could now handle more people and planes. There is now a new VIP entrance and other building changes that make the airport look better. In August 2014, the government gave the airport the go-ahead to begin work on stage II of its growth. This project will include building a new airport, a second runway, taxiways, decks, plane parking, and other aviation-related buildings and structures.

In Bangalore North, the Devanahalli area is nice. Roads that don't get in the way are good, and the people there are nice. Many planes land and take off at Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore. It is near Devanahalli, about 30 miles north of Bangalore.
It connects this area to other parts of India and other countries well. It's easy to get to and from the city because of where it is. A lot of people come and go through Kempegowda International Airport for work and pleasure. A lot of people use it to get into the busy town.
Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore is a great example of how well modern planes can work. Today, the airport is an important part of city life. It has nice new buildings, works well, and cares about its customers. It was clear that everyone had a good trip, whether they were going to Bangalore or coming from there. The airport is key to connecting people worldwide and improving travel because it is well-planned, uses cutting-edge technology, and cares about its customers.
